- ‘Nabu’ offers a range of books in various languages aimed at younger children, including many that are spoken in countries in Africa. Some of the Nabu e-books have audio capability. Nabu is free.
- ‘Unite For Literacy’ is an American site with e-books aimed at younger readers. The books have audio narration in different languages. Note that not all the books are available with audio narration in all the languages offered; choose a language from the drop-down list to see which titles are available in that language. Unite For Literacy is free.
- ‘WorldStories’ offers story books for younger children in a range of languages. The books are translated but there is no audio facility. World Stories is free.
- ‘Storybooks Canada’ is a collection of graded reading books in various languages. Storybooks Canada is free. LIDA Stories
- For secondary aged learners ‘Open Culture’ has audio books including many set texts by authors such as Austen, Dickens Orwell and Shakespeare. Open Culture is free.
